Understanding R
Book Series

Here, you will find versions of the Understanding R book series. This book series is written by Dr. Dev K. Dalal, and made freely available here to anyone interested in learning or transitioning to using R. Note, this book series is specifically for individuals generally familiar with the statistical techniques discussed within the volumes, but who are unfamiliar with R and would like to begin using R.

There are three volumes to this series. Volume I, entitled Introduction and Univariate Statistical Analyses is now available. Volume II, Multivariate Statistical Analyses, and Volume III, Measurement Theory and Psychometrics, are in progress.

These volumes are constantly being updated, and, as R changes, things may change. Please refer back here for updates, and please contact me, ddalal@albany.edu, with any issues or suggestions you have to improve these resources, including suggestions for additional information to include.
